The New York Sun
The New York Sun is one of the newer papers in NY. It's only been around for a few years. The content of this paper covers a wide array of topics, but focuses mostly on NY issues unlike the NY Times, which is a much broader newspaper that covers more areas. I've only been reading this one for a few months now, but I've taken a strong likening to it, because of its dedication to covering NY based news stories. This newspaper may be young and small, but it's not a tabloid, and the journalistic integrity of it is excellent in my opinion. Also, for a smaller sized newspaper, the book review section is very impressive. The bigger newspapers have nothing over this little one if you're interested in in-depth coverage of local NY city and state news stories along with an impressive arts section as well.
