WinSCP

• Opera
• Firefox, together with its Web Developer addon.
• K-Meleon
• Internet Explorer, just to see how awful it is.

HTML-Kit

I suggest to install this software. Then set the editor for HTML and CSS code in WinSCP to be this editor. To do that, once WinSCP and HTML-Kit are installed, fire up WinSCP and preceed as follows.

1. On the initial screen, click on the word “Preferences”.
2. Click on the “Preferences” button.
3. Click on the word “Editors”
4. Click on the “Add” button.
5. In the “Editor type” box, click on “External editor”, and in the box below that line, enter “"C:\Program Files\Chami\HTML-Kit\Bin\HTMLKit.exe" !.!”, or any other path where you may have installed HTML-Kit. Note that you need to put the double quote around the path otherwise it ends at “Program ”
6. In the “Editor autoselection” box, enter “*.html”.
7. Click “OK”.
8. Press the “Up” button three times to move the rule fowards.
9. Repeat steps 4 to 7 twice, this time adding rules for “*.css” and “*.php”.
10. Close the winscp window.
