I was born in Mataró (Barcelona) in 1972. I am currently information management specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) (Rome, Italy). Before that I worked at the Government of Catalonia in Barcelona (Spain). I studied History and Information Science at the University of Barcelona.

I am currently involved in the Open Archive @ FAO, it has as main objective the integration of the FAO's electronic publishing, digital information repository, and the bibliographic cataloguing requirements. I am also the Executive Director of E-LIS, E-prints in Library and Information Science, the largest open archive in Library and Information Science.
