Koha on Debian for the neophyte

Introduction

This an unofficial description of a simple koha installation on Debian stable, currently squeeze. It is unofficial because it was written by me, Thomas Krichel. The installation itself is simple because it is used as part of a library school course. Commands that you have to enter are underlined. This tutorial assumes you already have a running version of Debian, say from a cloud host.

The documentation contains the following parts

Koha installation (the main thing).
Debian optional configurations (not required for koha)
Emacs (for those who want to learn a decent way to edit under)
koha installer screens (a bit out of date)

I will be happy for comments, corrections. Feel free to redistribute and change. I pay a beer for any mistake uncovered but you have to come as a visitor.
